The historic Point Iroquois Lighthouse is located along the northern shore of Michigan’s Upper Peninsula. The beacon is situated on a narrow, rocky outcropping that extends into the expanse of Lake Superior, and provided vital navigational aid to vessels until 1971.
This iconic lighthouse features a sturdy, white-painted brick tower that stands approximately 65 feet tall, capped with a black lantern room. There is a large, multi-story keeper’s dwelling attached to the tower, painted white with a red roof.
